Minutes of Meeting – Annual Meeting
Date and Time: Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 6:30 p.m.
Meeting Location: Parks and Recreation Dept., 5 Broad St.
Members Present: Chairwoman Pat Donahue, Dolores Nangle, Pamela Greaves, Elaine Heredeen, Alice Williams, Donna Clifford
Others Present: Doug Bollen, Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, Teasie Riley-Goggin
Members Absent: Domingo Alvarez, Joan Lovely, Jane Sarnowski
Recorder: Stacy Kilb
The meeting is called to order by Chairwoman Pat Donahue at 6:30PM.
NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Office of Vice-Chairperson
1. The chairperson asks for nominations for the office of vice-chairperson
2. Elaine is nominated by Pat. The nomination is seconded by Dolores.
3. The Chairperson asks for further nominations
4. The Board votes to elect Elaine for the office of Vice-Chairperson.
5. Nominations and Election for Vice-Chairperson is closed.
Office of the Treasurer
1. The chairperson asks for nominations for the office of Treasurer
2. Dolores is nominated by Elaine. The nomination is seconded by Pat.
3. The Chairperson asks for further nominations
4. The Board votes to elect Dolores for the office of Treasurer.
5. Nominations and Election for Treasurer is closed.
Office of the Secretary
1. The chairperson asks for nominations for the office of Secretary
2. Donna is nominated by Dolores. The nomination is seconded by Alice.
3. The Chairperson asks for further nominations
4. The Board votes to elect Donna for the office of Secretary.
5. Nominations and Election for Secretary is closed.
Bollen reads a letter from Mayor Driscoll re-appointing Pat as Chairperson and thanking her for her hard work.
Elaine motions and Pam seconds the motion to adjourn at 6:40PM. The Council goes into regular session at that time.
